This pair of embroidered garters are designed to be tied above or below the knees to hold stockings in the 17th & 18th century. The Design was inspired by the TV Show “Outlander” & the symbol of Scotland, the thistle. These garters are perfect for 17th-18th century outfits, for weddings, cosplay, historical reenactments or other themed events. The size of the embroidered part is 10,5″ x 1,4″ (10,5 cm x 3,5 cm), the size of the finished garters with ribbons is 41″ (104 cm). If you need longer, please tell me about it. Machine embroidery is done on taffeta (polyester), but can be done on silk or linen. You can also replace satin ribbons into cotton twill tape, just let me know.
