Classic & elegant 1940s black wool crepe dress. No bells & whistles, just gorgeous elegance. Fan of darts from the waist seam up to the bust. Short sleeves with modest shoulder pads. 7 panel skirt for a lovely drape & flow. Center back 7 ” metal zipper & side seam metal zipper. Crochet loops for belt but no original belt. The belt in most photos is not included in this listing but is available in a separate listing. No label, handmade. Condition is excellent. Signs of general wear & age. There is one small pinhole at the right back close to the side seam just under the armscye. The zipper is set 1/4″ off from one side to the other at the top edge, see pic. Dry cleaned & ready to wear. Measurements Bust: 40″ Waist: 29 1/2″ Hip: 41″ Length Center Back to Waist: 16 1/2″ & 16 1/4″ (the right side is slightly lower at the top of the zipper) Length Center Back to Hem: 48 Across Shoulders Back: 15 3/4″ Dress form measurements for reference: 31″, 23″, 33 1/2″ Sold as is so please ask any additional questions or for additional photos.
