This is a cedar box with a leafy scrolling pattern carved into the lid. At the center of the carving is a decoupaged paper panel featuring a voluptuous bouquet of pink & white cabbage roses. It is constructed using finger joints at the corners & metal hinges to hold the lid in place. At 9 3/4″ x 6″ x 3 3/4″ tall, it is the perfect size for a selection of tea bags, jewelry or letters & locks of hair, your choice. The box has ribbed wood feet to support it 1/2″ from the table top & to give it an extra design feature. It has collected a few scuffs & scratches in the last 60 or so years, but really, just a few. The rose paper panel has a missing corner. It’s in good enough shape to be very gift-able for a friend into vintage.
