Thigh high stretchy Cotton stockings 70% Cotton 2% Lycra 28% Nylon One Size Fits Most Available in Cream These are knit with a simulated seam running down the back & a mix of yarns to provide a maximum amount of cross stretch. Great for more substantial legs, they provide a thin, soft, generous fit in the ankle, calf, & thigh. They can also fit a petite & leg foot very well because they start our small before expanding. These were designed to have more stretch to assist our historic sites fit their interpertors better with one size stocking. All stockings are one size fits most & thigh high refers to length & not necessarily the intended place to wear them. 18th & 19th century they were worn just above or below the knee. Not until the 20th century wear stockings worn to the actual thigh. Some styles are more forgiving & will allow them to go to the thigh for some wearers. stockings that have been worn or tried on can not be returned or exchanged due to sanitary reasons.
