T Shirts

The thing we wear more than any other in most womenswear wardrobes is also the thing most likely to fail you when you get up close. That awful t- shirt you know as soon as you put it on. Cheap fabric that pills after four washes. Whites that reveal more than they should as soon as you pull them over your head. Something that looks good in your bedroom mirror but rides up your back by eleven am. We’ve all got them in our drawers and we don’t want to help you add another. What we want to help you find is the kind of t-shirt that becomes a true workhorse of your wardrobe. You grab without thinking because you know it will always perform. Slipped into a slim trouser it looks planned. Knotted over a midi skirt it looks effortlessly cool. Under a blazer for a meeting or solo with your favourite jeans at the weekend it can dress up or down and still look like itself. Great tees aren’t just filler for your outfit, they’re the reason everything comes together. We’ve built this edit around that benchmark. We’ve been obsessive about fabric as it’s where most tee shirts start to go wrong. Weight. Drape. Does it hold its shape after wearing and washing? All matters. We’ve also put thought into how each garment fits across our range of models, as getting that right for all body shapes is harder than brands often like to acknowledge. A well fitted tee should skim, not cling. A well oversized tee should look intentional, not like you just grabbed your partner’s. Colour has been key too. Truly white ones that deserve that label.
